Salient: worth it for design-heavy sites, not lean builds
Salient is worth buying if you want a polished, animation-rich marketing or portfolio site and are comfortable building inside its customized WPBakery system. It is not the best choice for a lightweight, block-first site or a project that may need to move themes later, because its strongest layouts rely on Salient-specific elements and builder markup.

How we rule
You should not have to read nine hundred words to find out whether something is worth your time. Every page opens with the decision.
Every ruling names the people it does not suit. A site that recommends everything recommends nothing.
The drawbacks we list are the ones showing up in support forums and reviews, not ones we imagined. We say where they came from.
